Job description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Middle Java Developer to join our team in creating and maintaining an exclusive ordering platform for the Paddock Club at Formula 1 events. This sophisticated system handles event inventory and order workflows, supporting both pre-event reservations and on-site fulfillment. You’ll build a high-performance solution that manages inventory, orders, and user access for large-scale, high-profile events, with seamless integrations to payment gateways, ERP systems, and email services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications and services.
Implement software solutions to extend platform functionalities and enhance user experiences.
Participate actively in system improvements and optimizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver new features efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical challenges with critical thinking and proactive problem-solving.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Understanding of scalable, high-performance application architecture
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively
Good communication skills and ability to work within a cross-functional team
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with payment gateway integrations
Basic understanding of ERP and email service integrations
Knowledge of blockchain technology trends (optional but advantageous)
